Village Planters
.
Both planters have
been much admired over the summer
months. Bedding plants will soon be
removed and Spring bulbs planted.
Is it really that time of year already!?
The Well-dressing project
was
completed by 15
th
September and the
result installed on the front of the
planter in the village centre. As there
was no Well available, it was decided to
call it a “Thanksgiving floral tableau”.
As a very first attempt, the group were
pleased with their efforts.
Village Christmas Tree
The existing
tree was removed in September and a
replacement will be installed shortly.
Community Litter-pick
Despite a low
turnout, volunteers still managed to
collect 18 VERY heavy bags of rubbish,
plus several other items. Thanks to all
concerned.
