Community Events & Charities

Many people would list the number and variety of community groups, events and activities as one of the great advantages of living in Saddleworth and Mossley. The only difficulty can sometimes be keeping track of them all!

The Community Events pages in each issue of our magazines provide free listings for local events organised by our community, charity and voluntary groups. People keep the magazines for a long time for all the What’s On information – this is a wonderful way to publicise your event for no cost!

Our magazines also provide free coverage to different community groups in features each month. Residents love reading about local activities and this is a great way to tell them all about your group and encourage new people to come along, either to a regular meeting or to a fund-raising event.
